Sons of Privilege - Katherine Garbera
Writing for Silhouette Desire has always been a lot of fun for me. I love the diverse characters that inhabit the books that Desire publishes. And this month I'm kicking off a new series with an International flair--Sons of Priveledge. This three book series kicks off with Christos a Greek tycoon who has to claim a son he believes isn't his so that he can have an heir. He's sexy and arrogant.
Ava Monroe was in love with Christos a long time ago but when he accused her of sleeping with his brother she quickly realized that the love she was experiencing was simply one sided. She left Mykonos Greece determined to never think about Christos again. But when she sees on CNN that Christos' brother, sister-in-law and two children were killed in a small plane crash she is reminded of him again When he shows up to claim their son, she is ready to forgive him and go back to Greece with him but things don't go as smoothly as she hopes.
The story is set on the Island of Mykonos which is simply a beautiful place. Christos and his family have always lived there something that Ava finds lends a lot of weight to their family. In fact she feels very isolated at first until she finds her own place in this very domineering male culture.
I'm a big fan of traveling to new places if not in person than with a book or through my imagination. I've traveled to a few cosmopolitan cities like Manhattan, Los Angeles and London. I hope you enjoy The Greek Tycoon's Secret Heir and the chance to discover Greece if you've never been there.

Congrats on your release. I hear that Mykonos is really beautiful. I hope to visit Greece one day. I live in Manhattan, but it would be amazing if I could live on a Mediterranean island.
Congratulations on your new release. It looks to be an interesting trilogy. I would love to travel, and see different things, but for now have to do it through the books I read.
I'm planning to travel a lot once my kids are out of school. Just pack up my laptop and go wherever the mood takes me.
Thanks Jane and Cryna for the congrats.
Katherine :)
Oh geez, I wouldn't mind going to Greece, right now. . . think it's warmer. Now that I should complain, today it's 20. Two days from now it'll be in the 50s again. For NJ. Hmm.
But I digress. LOL But, to travel, yeah. . . London, Egypt, everything we've seen and heard so much about but never actually seen with one's own eyes. I"m so there! :)
Lois
Lois-my daughter (15) is dying to go to Egypt. I'm thinking that maybe for her high school graduation I'll take her.
Katherine :)
Its in the 50s in Dallas today which feels really cold after being in Florida for a week and experiencing temps in the 80s!!!
Congratulations on your new book. I love picking up a book and traveling around the world with a great romance thown in.
I love reading about a place in books and then going to visit it. Its cool to see the places that are almost familiar since I've experienced them.
Katherine, I love the notion of packing up your laptop and travelling wherever your heart (or story) takes you. That's my dream life...although getting the writing done instead of enjoying Mykonos or Tuscany or the Algave might be a problem.
Bron, looking forward to reading your Mediterranean men
Hey Bron!
Enjoying the sites would be a powerful incentive to finish my pages each day, I think. I write to a treat...like Pavlov's dog I know if I finish my pages each day I get something good each night.
Congrats on another GREAT release! I can't wait to read this book! Books are a fun way to travel...especially when I need to escape these 10 degree winter temps..LOL!
Kathleen--10 degrees!!! I think I'd need more than a book to help me escape.
Another continuity... I didn't know about this one!
Congrats!
Thanks for the congrats, Natalie. I really am excited about this series.
Kathy :)
Travelling where all the action of your book is happening... that would be a dream!
Actually, it has been such a long time since I have travelled!
I try to travel at least three times a year even if its just a quick weekend get away.
