Release Day!!!! - Tracy Wolff

Pardon my enthusiasm, but I am thrilled to announce that today is release day for my brand new Harlequin Superromance, The Christmas Present. The story of Vivian, a lawyer from San Francisco's Nob Hill and Rafael, the owner of a teen center in the worst area of S.F., it details their struggle to save an innocent teen-ager from going to jail for a murder he didn't commit.

Vivian and Rafael's story is a story I've wanted to write for a long time, and one that seemed perfect for this holiday season. It's a story about family and forgiveness, love and redemption, and the joy that comes from putting someone else before yourself. These are the values I try to remember all year round, but that always seem a little easier to practice around the holidays.

Maybe it's because I love the holidays and everything about them. From trimming the tree to wrapping presents to visiting friends and family to donating time and money to a worthy cause to getting my boys all dressed up, I love the holidays. There's just something about this time of year that makes everything and anything seem possible.

So tell me, what do you like about the holiday season? What makes you happy about this time of year?

Lights! I don't really like the christmas music, but seeing all the houses decorated with lights at night or the different places you can drive through that have been decorated with lights...I just love all the lights.

I always wish for snow on Christmas day. I live in Scotland but could count on one hand the number of times it has happened, it makes the whole day just seem extra special.
As for Christmas lights, there is a fight in our car everytime we go out at night and my two sons count the number of trees they can see on wach side of the road - it always ends in tears!

I was very, very lucky to have wonderful holdiays with my family. My mother and I lived with her parents, and the four of us were a "family unit". Mama could sing and play piano. She said she "played by ear". I always teased her about adding extra notes to the music! My grandmother was the greatest cook ever, and we had so many good things to eat! My grandfather was a "Christmas Tree Specialist". He and I always picked out the tree, and he very precisely added the lights. Then we added the ornaments (and I mean all the ornaments). The silver icicles had to placed on the tree one by one. More than once, I got scolded for throwing little handfuls of icicles at random. Hey...I was a kid! I have to admit, they were beautiful trees. Paw Paw knew what he was doing! He also taught me that if you have more than you need, you have enough to share. He worked with a man who had a large family, so I passed some of my clothes and toys along to them each year. My Granny filled the house with edible delights. Fruitcake, fudge, cookies, country ham, homemade rolls, pies, turkey & dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, veggies & salads...how could we even move! We also had a "gumdrop tree". Our stockings were filled with tangerines, peppermints, nuts and chocolates. The scent of Christmas is truly a magical fragrance! I love Christmas, and I carry the spirit of Christmas in my heart all year long.

I love spending time with family. Watching the delight on my grandkids' faces when they open their presents. There is nothing better than the excitement of children at Christmas.

Hi Tracy!

Happy Release Day! Woohoo!

Christmas is so special in so many ways to me. Friends and family, church, Jesus, the delicious food, all the fun and surprises, parties and festivities, decorating the house, going up town to the Xmas stores, etc. Just everything combined makes the whole season so special!

Have a very blessed Christmas filled with a lot of love and laughter!

I love everything about the holidays, too! We love looking at lights on the way home at night and wishing for snow (that never comes), cooking for friends and family, going to Church, and all of the other things that go with the season.

Thanks for all your warm wishes on the release. I appreciate them. And have a wonderful holiday season,
