New experiences - Christina Hollis

I was delighted to have my first romance accepted, and each subsequent book has brought its own special magic.

Today is another exciting day for me in a year that's been a whirl of new experiences. The Hardback copies of my latest Harlequin Mills and Boon Presents/Modern Romance have just arrived!

One Night In His Bed is going to be released at the end of this year, and I can't wait. It's the story of penniless widow Sienna, who gets more than she bargained for when she catches the eye of ruthless Garett Lazlo. Dark-hearted Garett doesn't do anything for free...

Everything I write automatically becomes my favourite of the moment, but there's something very special about actually holding a book in your hands and knowing you've written it yourself. By the time it arrives, the waiting and the worry make it almost as nerve-racking (but not quite!) as welcoming a new baby into the house.

What's the best thing that's arrived in your life?"

Well, since I don't have grandkids and no sign of any on the distant future, I'd say the best thing to arrive in my house lately is a new mattress & box spring. I didn't realize how much sleep I was missing until it arrived! AH-H-H-H!

Well, I do love it everytime I come home from a bookstore. ;)

But ~10 years ago is when I got my baby! She's still fuzzy and hungry and thinks she rules the house, but hey, she's a cat, what do you expect. LOL :)

My daughter's high school diploma arrived in June and it was a thrill to watch her get it.

Funny you should mention babies. I just had a baby girl 11 months ago and she is quite the charmer. She has us all wrapped up around her fingers. She is so much fun to watch. every day is a day of discovery for her.

Hum.. nothing exceptional... but I think it is being born! Life has lot to offer, but you have to be in it to enjoy it!
