May blossom

May is absolutely my favourite month. It's when all that hard work we put in back in September comes to fruition and there are pots and beds overflowing with flowers.

At least, that's the plan. This year we had a wonderfully warm April so everything was a bit early, but winter was shortened - always a bonus - and here's what we've been able to sit out and enjoy

And here are the grandchildren in woods, enjoying the early flush of bluebells!

Love the smell of Basil. It's a little early to plant them out here but will be doing that soon. Meanwhile the tomatoes are coming up in the conservatory!
