Mine Until Morning

I’m so pleased to show you the cover for Mine Until Morning, the third book in the Courtesans Tales, which will be available in December. I absolutely love it. I give you Isabel’s story, Courtesan's Madam, in Mine Until Morning. For her story, I took a little research trip down to Palm Springs to scope out some settings. It’s always fun figuring out how to incorporate the settings into my stories. So in Isabel’s story, we take a hike through some slot canyons in The Painted Canyon. I’ve done this throughout the Courtesan’s Tales. In Payback, from Yours for the Night, Dominique and Gabriel took a trip up the tramway to the top of Mount Jacinto. In Three’s a Crowd, from Hers for the Evening available in May, Courtney and Sean tour Hearst Castle (although I did change the name of the castle). Also in Hers for the Evening, Devon and Hunter travel to Sedona. And in my current WIP, After Midnight, Erin and Dominic take a train ride to Reno. I suddenly realized I haven’t done the Napa wine country yet! I see another trip in my future looking for locales. My husband and I need a vacation anyway! We haven’t been on one in about 5 years! But we are going to Tahoe this summer for a family reunion and my Mom’s 85th birthday celebration. So, gosh, I bet you’ll see Tahoe in an upcoming book, too!

Post a comment (you must leave your e-mail so I can contact you) and I’ll enter you in a drawing for an autographed copy of The Fortune Hunter. I’ll also add you to my newsletter for updates on releases.

Just a little promo. Take Your Pleasure will be coming out from LooseId on April 13th! And don’t miss a trip over to this week’s JasmineBlog where I’m giving away a copy of Kate Perry’s wonderful book, Chosen by Desire.

Thank you, Anna! I will be sure to do a blog with photos of Tahoe after the trip. But check out my Feb 15th blog http://jasminehaynes.blogspot.com/2010/02/reno-snow-train.html
You'll find photos of the Tahoe area and Donner Lake as we passed through the Sierra Nevadas. Those are the snow pictures, which will then be contrasted with the summer photos from the Tahoe trip.

Ooo...love that cover! Woowee! Absolutely loved your book YOURS FOR THE NIGHT! A hard to resist, smart, sexy story full of sass that sizzled with romance but was oh so refreshing! Thank you so much again!

I'm so glad it makes you need a fan, Caroline! It did for me, too!

thank you so much, Michele. I'm so glad you loved Yours for the Night! And I'm so glad you like the new cover for the December book. Berkley outdid themselves for me yet again!

Thank you, Atia and Linda! I will be sure to let everyone know about the Tahoe trip! And Mom's 85th birthday party! We're renting a five-bedroom house for the festivities!

Hey Jasmine,

The Cover Gods have been good to you. Just love that cover to Mine Until Morning. All the covers in Courtesans Tales series have been sensual and done in such good taste.

I loved visiting Taho when DH and lived in California. Hope to see some pics at your website.

Thank you, Estella and Armenia. yes, the cover Gods have been very good to me. But I think they outdid themselves on this one. It's sensual yet classy. And definitely the pics will be up on the blog after the trip! It's in July, though, so you'll have to be patient with me!

Love the cover! But then you always

That's wonderful you're civic minded, Pat! Good for you! Hubby and I always do it by mail now. Though going to the polling place is kind of fun! I'm so glad you love the cover. I have been lucky. And I hope you're enjoying Somebody's Lover!

Researching settings sounds fun. Am glad for books to sweep me away on many levels and I enjoy the travelling vicariously. In some cases, it is more fun for me to read about a beautiful place than actually going there and being mosquitoe bait.

Wow, research must be fun! I've never been to any of the places you mention, so I will need to enjoy them vicariously through your books.

Thank you, Lil and Alison! Yes, research can be very fun. I much prefer visiting a setting rather than just researching it on the internet. You have to have a flavor of a place, and you can only get that by visiting, though of course that isn't always possible. And Lil,no mosquitos in any of those settings!

Thanks for stopping by everyone! I'm off to randomly select the winner of The Fortune Hunter. Back in a few!

Oh very cool! Can't wait to hear from you. :)

Jennifer Skully/Jasmine Haynes said...

Oh, Mary! I sent you an email yesterday! I'll try again. But email me on skully at skullybuzz dot com, just in case. I think sometimes my email program has problems with yahoo addresses.

And thanks, Sue, it is fun writing about places I visit!

Mary Kirkland said...

Hey Jasmine,
I found the first email in my spam folder and I got the other two from you. I replied to all three. I hope one of them went through. lol

Jennifer Skully/Jasmine Haynes said...

They all made it through, Mary! And I replied to one of them. sorry for my confusion! I'll mail the book to you this week!

And thanks again to everyone for stopping by.

Mary Kirkland said...

So glad they went through. Something must be up with the mail because I didn't get the one you replied to. lol Good thing we have this blog to come back to. :)

I look forward to reading the book and thanks.
